There are reasons that addicts push them selves and exercise a lot and it is because they don't like what they fell like when they don't exercise. When they are not able to exercise most the time they get depression, anxiety, confusion, and are less happy with themselves.

Exercising too much does more than affect your mind; it affects your body also. Exercise can do a lot for you, it will help you with weight issues, give you the body you want, make you fit and help you to stay that way. If you overdo the exercises there are consequence that can occur including muscle damage, heart problems, and Osteoarthritis. Your body has set limits and if you go past those limits when you are exercising you are harming yourself.

People who get obsessed with exercises are usually the people who recently started exercising. These people want to make sure that they get all of the benefits and get in the best shape.

If you get really tired and exhausted you are probably over doing it. You need to remember that it is not only your muscles that you can damage; you can damage your bones as well. Lots of people who exercise hurt themselves to the extent of needing splints or having fractures. They often will not rest because they want to get the best workout and the damage them selves.

Even if you are just taking a brisk morning walk there are risks, if you walk too much you can get Osteoarthritis. When you are walking your body is working against gravity. Even if it is helping your muscles out it, it could lead to knee problems. If you use your knees too much they can become sore and serious problems could happen.

There are many people who walk for more than a couple of hours a day and end up with knee problems. Too much of any exercise, jogging and sit-ups included, can cause damage. Moderation is the key when you are exercising for a long period.

Start off gradually and work on a bunch of different types of exercises. One of the biggest problems that people having is repetition. They will do the same exercise over and over. This lack of distribution of the work across the body can lead to soreness in the overworked area. Then the sore feeling could lead to a lot of pain and possible permanent damage.

You should never keep pushing yourself until you feel like you are completely exhausted. Your upper limit for an exercise period should be forty-five to and hour and only four or five days a week. You should finish a workout refreshed and with energy not dead tired. Every week that you exercise you need to make sure that your body gets a day off to rest.

Your attitude is the key to success when it comes to health and exercise is the healthiest way to live life. Physical fitness should be done for yourself, not to see a specific number when you stand on the scale.

Take exercise one day at a time and don't push yourself too hard and you will achieve the success you are looking for. You can actually have fun and relax while you are exercising only if you don't rush yourself. You always want to start slow and gradually progress into the harder workouts. After a while you will be able to prevent you injuries before they even happen and you will have learned how to stay healthy.
