6. Premature birth can also be decreased when undertaking exercise whilst pregnant. It has been proven to decrease the risk of premature birth by at least 50%.

It is essential to ensure that you drink plenty of fluids before any form of exercise when pregnant, as well as following a nutritious diet and avoiding over exertion. It is also vitally important that you listen to what your body is telling you. For example, if you begin to feel sick, then you should cease exercise immediately and take a rest.

The delivery of your baby will be much easier when exercising throughout your pregnancy. Exercise will strengthen your body, which will in turn make it much easier for you when you enter the delivery room. It is a proven fact that women who do not exercise during pregnancy find it much more difficult to give birth.

To undertake exercise throughout your pregnancy is certainly one of the best things that you can do, not only for yourself, but also for your unborn baby. Your baby will reap the benefits, which is a good reason in itself to exercise. It is essential that you take care when exercising.
