Rehabilitationit is important to take it slow after an ankle dislocation as it usually takes approximately 15 to 20 weeks to fully heal and that is due to the sprained ligaments, it can take longer in surgery was needed to insert pins and screws.
One should start by walking with the use of crutches until the doctor clears the walking without cruches and okays weight bearing activities again.
As with any injury it is important to seek out medical advice as these injuries can quickly progress and lead to permanent damage and a chronic injury.
